Mico AP...More to love, less to carry!

Today is the day! It's the release of the long awaited Mico AP from Maxi Cosi! If you read this post, you'll remember how excited I was to hear about this amazing, lightweight infant seat. Today, it is available to buy from your favorite retailer!

Now equipped with Air Protect Technology, this seat becomes not only the lightest in it's class, but also incredibly safe. The Air Pocket compresses and shields children from side impact intrusion and immediately reduces crash forces in the child's most vulnerable place, the head. The Mico AP also got some new upgraded comfort features, including the Cozi Dozi. That is a new infant head insert that provides additional padding needed by infants as well as a multi position sun canopy.

I, obviously, need another baby to ride in this sweet seat. Are you ready for one now? With 14 colors, including Butter Cream and Passionate Pink, there is a seat to fit every taste!

Get excited Big Baby Mommas!

I loved working with the great people behind Maxi-Cosi to give away one of their fabulous Quinny Yezz strollers not too long ago. I am thrilled to be able to tell you about the new Maxi-Cosi Mico AP.

Why am I so excited about this? Because it's the lightest infant seat in it's class and features an ergonomic handle for extra carrying comfort. I can say that carrying around my big babies in the infant seat is one of the hardest task of motherhood. Give me the lightest, most simple to carry any day! This infant seat has held the title of lightest in it's class, but it now features superior side impact performance.

The new Mico AP is soon to be released and I will get to tell you all about it!

Right off, I absolutely love the look. The white base and handle is so chic. If we ever decide for #3, I want it to have the black with the white base. Isn't it gorgeous? Although, the Passionate Pink seat would be absolutely essential if we have a girl, right? These colors will be available very soon, but lookout for a total of 14 colors in the near future!

The Mico AP is compatible with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny strollers as well as other premium strollers.

In the market for a new infant seat? Keep an eye out for my complete review of the Maxi-Cosi Mico AP and maybe even a chance to get one for yourself!

It's Sully! And a potty!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Huggies Pull-Ups.

So, I mentioned before that we started this potty training mission before we knew we were moving, taking 4 week trips and being completely overwhelmed with buying and selling houses. Even with all of that, I'm impressed with Callan's progress. He is more consistently telling me when he has to go. He is telling me if he has gone in his Pull-up. He is really excited to get rewarded!

This little video shows he's getting this thing down. Potty and Sully are frequently heard words around here! He loves getting fruit snacks as his reward. He gets one every time he goes on the potty and it really has been fun for him. I do like the no pressure, relaxed approach we've taken this time. It seems like it is much less of a daunting task. We've just given him the tools he needs and are letting him learn at his own pace.
Mike and Sully have been a huge help. Having characters that Callan loves makes the whole experience even better. The monsters appeal to both boys and girls, too, making it fun for everyone!

Big brother has a few pairs of Monster's Inc underwear and Callan loves having matching "Sully butts".

This being my second go around with potty training, my advice to other parents is to relax about it. Cooper took much longer to be ready than Callan. It's okay. You want the process to be fun, memorable and exciting. It won't be if there is lots of stress and pressure when your child isn't ready. Talk about the potty. Cheer profusely when they make it to the bathroom. Reward, reward, reward. I mean, I'd like a reward for being the one facilitating this whole thing, so they obviously want it for all they've done.

This is a big step from baby to big kid. Take is easy, make it fun and let Pull-Ups help you!

Pull-Ups helps take the scare out of potty training by making it fun and easy with new Monsters U character training pants! You can help make potty training easier by staying consistent and using rituals like the potty break. Make it a game and ask your toddler, “What does a little monster take?”…“A Potty Break!”

Storage Solutions While Moving

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight
campaign with Pollinate Media Group™, Home Depot
Rubbermaid, but all my opinions are my own.
#pmedia #AllAccessOrganizers  http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.

If you asked me right now where I will be living in 2 months, the answer is, I have no idea. That idea is terrifying enough to the average Joe, but a mom?! A mom of 2? I'm constantly making list in my head, on my phone and on paper, that I end up losing. I am terrified to be leaving my house for the next 4 weeks to be on vacation, at my parents and living in hotels in between. We'll be back for a hot minute, only to have our stuff packed for 3 months until our house is ready. Everything that I will need until December 1st needs to be packed up and easily accessible.

Enter Rubbermaid All Access Organizers.

When I was given the opportunity to review these, I was over the moon. Then, when I saw them in person at Home Depot, I was in love.

How perfect these things are for my next few months of gypsy life! They can be easily moved from my car, into a hotel, my parents, the beach house and anywhere else we may find ourselves.

One thing that is always an issue when we drive anywhere, are my shoes. I have tons, I bring tons on trips and they're always thrown randomly into the car. With this next chunk of travel being for at least 4 weeks, I know there will be an abundance of shoes. I decided the small sized All Access Organizer would be perfect!

There are 8 pairs of shoes in there, with 4 of them being 5" heels, and there's still room for more. I love that I can just open the door and grab the pair I need.

I know we will bring tons of clothes for the next few months, but the idea of living out of suitcases isn't a fun one. With most of the rental properties we've been looking at, there is little to no clothing storage. The large All Access Organizer is exactly the solution I need.

I can open the top of the box, fill it with the clean laundry, then the kids can open the door on the front to pick our their outfit. I can also stack the boxes for each person on top of each other so they hardly take up any space!

After these few months are over, and I don't need all this temporary storage, I plan to use these for seasonal decorations. I change out the decor in my house very regularly. These will be perfect when they're all stacked with my other Rubbermaid totes, because I can quickly and easily open the door and grab that random candle or picture frame. They would also be a fabulous storage solutions for a playroom! Being able to see everything that is inside is such a fantastic feature!

Be sure to check out your local Home Depot for these Rubbermaid All Access Organizers! You can also follow both Home Depot and Rubbermaid on Facebook for all kinds of storage tips!
